Attached (or following) is the PKD excerpt.  Let me know if it arrives in legible
form.  Also, how do you intend to use it?  I should write a little disclaimer to
the effect that "This unpolished excerpt is taken from a work in progress,
currently abandoned.  It may be copied in whole or in part for non-commercial
purposes and distribution, until such time as the novel from which it is
extracted may appear and then my (potential) publisher might get uptight about
such things.  Meanwhile, have at it."

By the way, I have one favor to ask, tit for tat.  In exchange for running this
PKD piece, could you possibly run some little plug for my new book from
St. Martins?  I'm not sure anyone knows it exists--it's just out.
